A New Flag for Kenyon College

To create a new flag, inspired by existing college symbolism, which captures the spirit of community fostered by Kenyon.

Colors:

• Purple: the Kenyon community

• Gold: the commitment to academic excellence

• White: finding truth

The three crosses represent arts, humanities and the natural/social sciences.

The gold chevron represents the path taken by all kenyon students, the apex being the turning point of graduation where we all go into the world with our memories and experiences.
